The New Home
A couple came to the Delaware and Maryland shores year after year to vacation, to have fun, to enjoy beach life, the nightlife, the food, and the many amenities that we have to offer. Like many couples they started off in either hotels or motels and searched out things of their interest, enjoying the overall landscape of the area. When their vacation was over they returned back to their home, feeling refreshed and brought home a little of the beach life with them whether it was the memories, a bucket of sand, or a fantastic vision of life at the beach. This went on for some time, year after year and each time the memories were greater and the vision of life at the beach grew to the point where they started considering a second home at the shore. Their family grew, they told their friends about their vacation at the beach and all the fun they had there and they decided that next time they would take a vacation with the kids and a group of their closest friends.
Let The Plans Begin
The wives got together and started planning their upcoming vacation – I want a pool, I want a bedroom with a private bath. The husbands began to plan as well – I want to play golf and fish and go out at nights. Not knowing how to really get started, they called the Fenwick Bethany Chamber of Commerce and they suggested renting a house and emailed them lots information on the area. It was decided that they would rent one of the many houses available here. The trip was planned and off they went, headed to our beautiful shore. They got to the house and it had everything they wanted, two master bedrooms with private baths, a pool, and so much more than they expected. The women shopped the many boutiques in Fenwick Island and Bethany Beach, the men played golf in Ocean City and the kids enjoyed time at the pool, beach and boardwalk. But as all good things come to an end, the vacation week was over and back to their homes and reality they went.
Hooked On Beach Life
Vacations affect people in many different ways, but for this couple they were hooked on the beach life and soon owned a second / retirement home here at the shore. Most people don’t want to spend their time maintaining their property while living or vacationing here; rather they want to spend their time enjoying all the wonderful things to do here.
